The Northern Rd Upgrade - Stage 4
Construction Value: $120 million
In view of the new Western Sydney Airport, works are being done to upgrade The Northern Road. Stage 4 of the upgrade (spanning 5.7km) includes diversion and widening of the Northern Road around the Western Sydney Airport site, new traffic lights for the Western Sydney Airport entrance, cyclist and pedestrian facilities, and other related works including relocation of utilities.
The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
Align-A-Cut are currently involved in the project and works include (but not limited to) trimming the edge of the road, drilling pits to assist with drainage, and cutting trenches through the road for drainage.
